How to prepare and clean a silicone facial ice mold
A reusable facial ice mold needs preparation, cleaning and use that follows its instructions. This guide explains how to organize that care and how a reusable accessory differs from a single-use face mask.
What you need
A silicone mold, water and a freezer. Check the product instructions for filling and closing it. Do not add ingredients just because you saw them on social media: use only what is specified for your product.
1. Clean the mold before preparation
Wash before the first use and after each application. Check that no residue remains before refilling and follow the manufacturer's cleaning directions.
2. Fill and close
Add water according to the instructions and close the mold correctly. Do not force the parts or alter the closure. The DARVENI facial ice mold is made of pink silicone.
3. Let the water freeze
Place the mold in the freezer until the water is completely frozen. Timing depends on the freezer and the amount of water, so there is no universal freezing time.
4. Check the application instructions
Review the product directions before use. Avoid prolonged ice contact with the same area and do not use it on irritated, damaged or cold-sensitive skin. Stop using it if you experience discomfort.
5. Clean, dry and store
Wash after use and allow the mold to dry before storing. Check its condition before preparing the next use. Do not heat the product.
